Delete data stored by an app

1. Open the app and remove any connected account, workspace, or cloud connection you no longer want linked.
2. Use any delete, reset, or clear-data controls available in the app.
3. Delete exported files or backups from the locations where you saved them.
4. Delete the app from each device to remove its local app container, subject to your device backup settings.
5. Revoke the app’s access in Apple, Google, Microsoft, or another connected provider’s account settings.

Removing an app does not necessarily delete records stored by a connected provider or cancel an app-store subscription. Use that provider’s controls to delete provider-held data and the app store’s controls to manage billing.

Ask us to delete data we control

Email privacy@supersimplecontacts.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” Include the email address associated with your request, the Super Simple product involved, and the country or state where you live. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, contact databases, government identifiers, or other sensitive content.

We may ask for limited additional information to verify that you are the person concerned or an authorized agent. We will acknowledge and respond within the period required by applicable law.

What we will delete

After verification, we will delete or de-identify personal information we control that is covered by your request, and instruct relevant service providers to do the same where required. This may include waitlist or mailing-list information, account information for developer-operated services, and support records that are not subject to a retention exception.

Information we may retain

Applicable law may permit or require us to retain limited information for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or to document that we completed or declined a request. We may also retain de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.

Data held solely on your device, in your backups, or by a connected provider is not controlled by us and must be deleted through the relevant device, backup, or provider controls.
